Use Teaching Operations when you need to manage teaching profiles that already exist. This is where you review teaching-specific profile data, stats, payouts, and linking state after staff access has already been set up.
Accessing Teaching Operations#
Open Admin > Teaching Operations from the People section of the sidebar.
What this page is for#
Teaching Operations is the follow-up workspace for people who teach. Use it to:
- Review active and inactive teaching profiles
- Open an individual teaching profile and manage its public-facing details
- Link or unlink a teaching profile to a staff member
- Jump to stats and payroll for teaching activity
This page is no longer the primary place to add a new person to the studio.
Add people from Staff, not here#
If you need to give someone access to the studio, start from Admin > Staff instead.
Use Staff to:
- Invite new staff by email
- Track pending invitations
- Follow up on unlinked teaching profiles that still need account access
Use Teaching Operations after the access side is already in place and you need to work on the teaching profile itself.
What you can do here#
Review the profile list#
The page separates teaching profiles into Active and Inactive tabs. Each row shows the public teaching profile and whether it is still linked to a real user account.
Open a teaching profile#
From an individual teaching profile you can:
- Edit the public-facing details
- Link or unlink the profile from a staff member
- Activate or deactivate the profile
- Open teaching stats and public profile views
Jump to stats and payroll#
The header actions take you to:
- Stats for teaching performance and feedback
- Payroll for teacher payout generation and records
Linked vs unlinked teaching profiles#
An unlinked profile already exists in your studio data, but it is not yet connected to a real staff account.
That usually means one of two things:
- The person was scheduled before they accepted an invite
- The teaching profile was created before the account-side setup was finished
Use Admin > Staff to send or resend the invite. Use Teaching Operations to handle the profile once the person is linked.
