Create Instagram Content

Design Instagram Stories, posts, and carousels in Naayya, save drafts, and schedule or publish them where publishing is turned on for your business

Use Social in Naayya to design Instagram Stories, single-image posts, and image carousels for your classes and teachers. You can save each one as a draft and reopen it later. Where publishing is turned on for your business, you can also publish to your Instagram account now or at a time you choose.

Who can use this#

  • Plan: The Social page and its editor are part of the Enterprise plan. On other plans the page shows an Enterprise Feature message.
  • Permission: You need marketing management access to save drafts, connect Instagram, publish, and schedule.
  • Publishing is a limited pilot. Naayya turns Instagram publishing on for one business at a time. If it is not on for yours, you can still design and save drafts, but the publish dialog says Publishing has not been activated for this business and Connect Instagram is not offered. To ask about joining the pilot, contact support@naayya.com.
  • Instagram account: Publishing needs an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator).

Open the editor#

Go to Admin > Social. In Create content, choose Create a Story, New post, or New carousel. Class templates opens the older class template designer.

Saved drafts appear under Your content. Select one to reopen it and keep editing.

Design your content#

Choose a format at the top left of the editor:

FormatWhat it contains
StoryUp to 20 frames at 9:16, published in the order shown.
PostOne image at 4:5 with a caption.
Carousel2 to 10 images at 4:5 with one caption. Instagram uses the first image as the cover.

Switching from a carousel to a post asks you to confirm before it removes the extra frames.

For each frame:

  • Start from a template: choose Announcement, Class promotion, or Teacher spotlight. The template replaces the current frame after you confirm.
  • Image: upload a PNG, JPEG, or WebP file. Images you uploaded before appear as thumbnails you can reuse. Select Remove image to clear it.
  • Heading and Body: edit the text, then choose a font (Modern, Editorial, or Friendly), a size, and a colour. Drag the text on the preview to position it.
  • Background and Accent: set the frame colours.

Use + Frame, Move left, Move right, and Remove frame to arrange Stories and carousels. Each frame must be under 10 MB once it is exported.

On the right, Title is your own name for the content. Posts and carousels also have a Caption of up to 2,200 characters, with at most 30 hashtags and 20 mentions. Stories have an Internal note instead, because Instagram Stories do not publish a caption.

Save a draft#

Select Save draft. Naayya shows Unsaved changes until you save, and asks before you leave the page with unsaved work. Content has one of these statuses: draft, scheduled, publishing, published, failed, or partially published.

You can edit only a draft. Publish and schedule use the saved version, so save first. To change scheduled content, cancel its schedule, edit and save, then schedule it again.

Designs made in the older editor show Revise a copy in the saved designs list. It opens the design as an image in the new editor, where you can add text and save a new draft.

Connect Instagram#

Publishing needs your Instagram account connected with permission to publish.

  1. Open a saved draft and select Publish Story, Publish Post, or Publish Carousel.
  2. If no account is connected, select Connect Instagram and approve access on Instagram. Naayya asks for basic profile access and content publishing access.
  3. The dialog then shows Publishing to your account name.

If access expires or is revoked, the dialog asks you to reconnect. You can also see the connection status in Admin > Settings > Integrations.

Publish now#

Review the dialog before you publish. It shows the account, your images in order, and the caption. Publishing is not a preview: your audience can see the result as soon as Instagram confirms it.

  • Story: each frame goes live separately, in the order shown. Naayya sends a frame only after the one before it is confirmed. If a frame fails, later frames are skipped and the dialog shows the result for each frame. Stories published this way do not include music, stickers, links, or native text overlays.
  • Post: the image must be between 4:5 and 1.91:1. Images made in the editor are 4:5. The caption limits above apply.
  • Carousel: all images go live together with one caption. While it prepares, the dialog shows how many images are ready.

When a publish succeeds, select View on Instagram to open it.

If the result is uncertain#

Sometimes Instagram may have accepted a request even though Naayya did not receive a confirmation. The dialog then says Instagram may have published the content and asks you to check the account. Open Instagram and look before you try again. Naayya stops instead of sending a second copy.

Other messages you may see:

  • Publishing limit: Instagram limits how much an account can publish. Try again after the limit resets.
  • Reconnect: Instagram must be reconnected with publishing access.
  • Could not process, or took too long: check the images and start a fresh publish.

Schedule publishing#

Open a saved draft and use Schedule publishing in the left panel. It works for Stories, posts, and carousels.

  1. Choose a Date and time. It must be more than 10 minutes from now and no more than 75 days ahead.
  2. Check the Timezone. It starts as your business timezone.
  3. If the time falls where clocks change, choose Clock change and pick the First or Second occurrence. A time that clocks skip cannot be scheduled.
  4. Select Schedule.

The status changes to scheduled. At the scheduled time, Naayya checks the connection, your publishing access, and the images again, then publishes.

Select Reschedule to choose another time, or Cancel schedule to return the content to a draft. Changes close two minutes before the scheduled time.

See what is scheduled#

The Publishing queue on Admin > Social shows a month calendar and a list of upcoming and recent items. Times use your business timezone. Select a day to show only that day, and select Refresh to reload.

Each item shows one of these labels: Scheduled, Publishing, Published, Partly published, or Publishing needs attention. From an item you can select Open content, Reschedule, or Cancel schedule. The queue shows the first 200 items.

If a scheduled post does not publish#

The item shows Publishing needs attention or Partly published with what to do next:

  • If some content may be live, check your Instagram account before you create another post.
  • If access was lost, reconnect Instagram or restore publishing access, then create a new draft.
  • If Instagram is at its publishing limit, choose a later time for a new draft.
  • If an image is missing or the post changed, review the saved images and post, then create a new draft.

The person who scheduled the post also gets an email with a Review scheduled post link.
