Booking policies control what happens when customers or teachers cancel.
Set them before customers rely on your booking flow.
Open policies#
Go to Admin > Settings > Policies.
You need owner or manager access to change policies.
Customer cancellation policies#
Customer policies can differ by product type.
Review:
- Cancellation window
- Whether refunds or credit returns are enabled
- Custom message shown to customers
- Whether the rule fits prepaid and subscription customers differently
Teacher cancellation policies#
Teacher cancellation policies control whether teachers can cancel classes and what restrictions apply.
Review:
- Whether teachers can cancel
- Minimum cancellation notice
- Enrollment threshold
- Whether admin approval is required
- Message shown to teachers
Before saving changes#
Check:
- The rule matches what customers were told
- The custom message is clear
- Staff know what to do when an edge case happens
- The policy fits your payment and refund process
