Schedule and attendance#
How do I know who's coming to my class?
Go to Schedule, find your class, and click the attendee count button. This opens a drawer showing everyone who's booked, including their name and booking status. See View your schedule for details.
Can I see student contact information?
The attendance drawer shows student names and profiles. Contact information visibility depends on your studio's privacy settings.
What if someone shows up without a booking?
Open the attendance drawer and click Add walk-in to record them. See Manage attendance for step-by-step instructions.
How do I cancel a class I'm scheduled to teach?
On your schedule page, find the class and click the options menu. Select Cancel and provide a reason. Some studios require manager approval or have time restrictions on cancellations.
Can I get someone to cover my class?
Yes. Click the options menu on your class and select Reassign. Choose an available teacher to take over. The studio manager may need to approve the change.
Payments#
How do I get paid?
Your studio manager creates payslips based on the classes you teach. View them in the Payments section of your dashboard. See View your payslips.
How is my pay calculated?
This depends on your studio's pay structure. Common models include:
- Fixed rate per class
- Base rate plus attendance bonus
- Revenue share percentage
Contact your studio manager for your specific arrangement.
When do payslips appear?
Payslips appear after your studio manager creates and dispatches them. Timing varies by studio, typically weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Profile and feedback#
Can students see my profile?
Yes. Your name, photo, bio, and teaching style appear on the studio's public class pages. Students can see this when browsing or booking classes.
How do I see feedback from students?
On your dashboard home page, you see your most recent reviews. Click View all feedback or go to your profile to see the complete history.
Can I respond to student feedback?
The current system doesn't support direct replies to feedback. If you need to address specific feedback, contact your studio manager.
Account access#
I can't access my teacher dashboard. What should I do?
Your account may not be linked to your teacher profile. Contact your studio manager to check your account setup.
Can I teach at multiple studios?
Yes. If you're set up at multiple studios, use the studio selector in the sidebar to switch between them. Each studio has separate schedules, payments, and settings.
Privacy and your data#
Where do I find my own privacy and data settings?
Open Profile in the bottom navigation. You'll see two entries: Health Information for optional health disclosures and Account & Data for your full account settings, including data export and account deletion.
Can I add my own health disclosures as a teacher?
Yes. Health Information is the same self-service area customers use. Naayya only stores a disclosure after you grant explicit consent in the privacy notice on that page. Withdrawing consent immediately deletes any disclosures you saved.
Can my studio manager or other teachers see my health disclosures?
Only the teacher of a class you have booked can view your disclosures, and only during attendance for that specific class. Every view is recorded in your Account > Health Information page so you can see exactly who looked and when. Managers, owners, and teachers of classes you have not booked cannot see this information.
Will I see my students' health information when I take attendance?
If a student has saved an injury, pregnancy, or medical condition under their Account > Health Information and consented to the current privacy notice, you will see a small alert icon next to their name in the attendance drawer. Clicking it opens a dialog with their disclosures. Each click is recorded in the student's account, so they can see who looked. Only use it when it would change how you run the class for that student.
How do I download a copy of my Naayya data?
Open Profile > Account & Data > Account Data Export and click Request export. You'll receive a JSON file with your account profile, the bookings you made as a customer, your payments and credits, any health disclosures you stored, and your consent history. The download link is available for 7 days.
Does the export include my teaching schedule, payslips, or payouts?
Not yet. The current export covers your customer-side data only. To get a copy of your teaching history or payslips, ask your studio manager or contact support@naayya.com.
How do I delete my Naayya account?
Open Profile > Account & Data > Delete account. There is a grace period before final deletion. If you teach at multiple studios, talk to each studio manager first so they can reassign your future classes.
