Naayya uses Stripe to power online payments, payouts, and bank transfers. To accept online bookings, you need both a connected Stripe account and complete studio billing details inside Naayya.
Before you begin#
- Your studio is set up in Naayya and has at least one owner.
- You have your legal business details ready, including billing address.
- The studio owner completing setup has the identification or company documents Stripe may request.
- You have a supported bank account ready for payouts.
- Your browser allows pop-ups, because Stripe onboarding opens in a new tab.
Step 1: Complete billing details in Naayya#
Before you finish payment setup, go to Admin > Settings > Plans & Billing and fill in your studio billing details.
Add:
- Company or legal business name
- Country
- Address line 1
- City
- Postal code
If your business is VAT-registered, add the VAT number too. For EU studios, this is strongly recommended so invoices and tax handling stay accurate.
If billing details are missing, studio owners see an Action needed prompt in the admin shell and on the billing page.
Step 2: Connect Stripe#
- Go to Admin > Settings > Get Paid.
- Choose the studio you want to connect if you manage more than one.
- Click Connect with Stripe or Complete Onboarding.
- Stripe opens in a new tab. Enter your business type, owner information, support details, and bank account.
- Submit the form and return to Naayya.
Only studio owners can complete payment onboarding. If the button is disabled, check the staff roles for that studio first.
Step 3: Sync and review your status#
After submitting onboarding:
- Check the Account Status card to confirm whether
ChargesandPayoutsare enabled. - Review Outstanding Requirements for any documents or information Stripe still needs.
- Click Sync Now after uploading documents or making changes in Stripe.
- Watch for admin prompts in Naayya if billing details or payment setup still need attention.
When online payments stay unavailable#
Naayya keeps online payment methods off until Stripe is fully ready.
- If your studio uses
offline_onlypayments, Stripe is not required. - If your studio accepts online payments, both
ChargesandPayoutsmust be enabled. - If Stripe is connected but still under review, online payment methods may remain unavailable until verification finishes.
Keep your account healthy#
- Keep your support email and business profile current in Stripe.
- Review payout timing and bank account details after onboarding.
- Respond quickly to any new verification requests from Stripe.
- Recheck Plans & Billing if your company address or tax details change.
