Naayya brings the daily work of a wellness business into one place: bookings, classes, appointments, products, payments, staff, customers, and client communication.
Use this article when you are orienting yourself before setting up the rest of your workspace.
Who uses Naayya#
Owners and managers#
Owners and managers work mainly in Admin. This is where you manage the business:
- Classes, appointments, and calendars
- Customers, leads, and segments
- Products, gift cards, discounts, and checkout settings
- Payments, reports, payroll, and contracts
- Locations, resources, staff access, notifications, and public website embeds
Your exact menu depends on your role, plan, and the type of business you run. For example, a business that only offers appointments may see fewer class tools.
Staff#
Staff members can be invited with the access they need for their job. Some staff may help with customers, bookings, POS, products, payroll, or settings. Staff who teach can also have a public teaching profile.
Start with Staff Management and Roles & Permissions.
Teachers#
Teachers use the teacher workspace to see their schedule, view attendees, manage attendance, update their profile, and view payslips when payroll is used.
Start with Teacher Dashboard Overview.
Customers#
Customers use the public business pages and their account area to book classes or appointments, manage their bookings, view memberships and bundles, update payment methods, use wallet or gift card balances, and review account settings.
Start with Customer FAQ.
Main areas of the product#
Scheduling#
Use Classes, Calendar, Appointments, Locations, and Resources to define what customers can book and where it happens.
Class businesses usually start with Creating Classes. Appointment businesses usually start with Create Appointment Services.
Booking and attendance#
Bookings can come from the public website, embedded schedule, customer account, admin booking tools, or POS. Attendance can be managed from the teacher schedule and class views.
See Customer Bookings, Waitlists for Classes, and Manage Attendance.
Products and checkout#
Products define what customers buy: drop-ins, bundles, memberships, appointment packages, physical products, and gift cards. Product settings control pricing, validity, eligibility, activation, and where a product can be used.
Payments and reporting#
Naayya supports online payments through the connected payment account, manual/offline payment records, POS sales, refunds, payouts, annual summaries, and payout reconciliation.
See Set Up Get Paid, Payments, and Reports.
Customers and growth#
The Customers workspace has three main views: Customers, Leads, and Segments. Use it to find people, understand their activity, follow up, and keep customer records accurate.
See Customer List, Leads Management, and Customer Segments.
Team and access#
Use Staff and access settings to invite people, control permissions, and keep teaching profiles separate from admin access. A person can be a customer, staff member, teacher, or more than one of these.
See People Overview and Access Control.
What to set up first#
- Confirm your business profile, timezone, currency, and public details.
- Add locations and any resources that affect booking capacity.
- Set up staff access for the people who need to help.
- Create the first classes, appointment services, or both.
- Create the products customers can buy.
- Connect payments if you want online checkout.
- Review booking rules, cancellation policies, notifications, and website embeds.
You do not need to configure every advanced setting before taking the first booking. Start with the flows you use today, then add more controls as your operations need them.
