Use exports when you need a customer list for reporting, operations, or a controlled workflow outside Naayya.
Exports contain personal data. Download only what you need, share it only with people who should have access, and delete old files when they are no longer needed.
Export customers#
- Go to Admin > Customers.
- Apply any search or filters you need.
- Click Export.
- Save the downloaded CSV file.
The export follows the current customer view and filters where supported.
What customer exports are for#
Common uses:
- Monthly customer reporting
- Checking customer growth
- Preparing a controlled outreach list
- Reconciling customer records
- Reviewing inactive or high-value customer groups
For marketing campaigns inside Naayya, you may not need to export. Use email campaign recipient selection or segments when available.
What not to export#
Do not export customer data just because it is convenient. Avoid using exports for:
- Sharing customer lists broadly
- Sending data to personal accounts
- Keeping permanent copies of sensitive customer information
- Working around role permissions
If you need a privacy or data access request, follow the appropriate account data process instead of sending an informal export.
Protect exported files#
After downloading:
- Keep the file in a secure location
- Do not leave it on shared computers
- Avoid forwarding it by email unless that is approved for your business
- Delete it when the work is done
- Be careful with spreadsheets that sync to personal cloud storage
Troubleshooting#
Export is empty#
Clear filters and try again. The current view may not contain matching customers.
Export fails#
Refresh the page and try again. If it still fails, contact support with the business name and the filters you used.
Customer data looks stale#
Reload the customer list before exporting, then download a new file.
