When a staff member teaches classes, Naayya can show a Complete your public profile banner in the teaching workspace.
This helps keep the public class schedule accurate for students.
When the banner appears#
The banner appears on /teacher pages when the teaching profile is incomplete.
Today, Naayya checks these required fields:
- Bio
- Profile photo
- Primary style
Instagram is optional. It improves the profile, but it does not keep the banner open.
How the banner behaves#
- The progress bar reflects the required fields only
- The banner disappears automatically as soon as all required fields are filled
- If the staff member dismisses it manually, Naayya hides it for 7 days before showing it again
Where staff complete the profile#
Staff complete this from the teaching workspace:
- Open Teacher > Profile
- Click Complete profile or go to Edit
- Add or update the required fields
- Save the profile
The banner is only a reminder. The actual editing happens on the profile page.
What studio operators should do#
Studio owners and managers do not need to fill this out on behalf of the staff member in most cases.
What they should do instead:
- Make sure the person has the correct teaching access
- Confirm they can sign in with the invited email
- Ask them to finish their public profile after they accept
- Use Admin > Teaching Operations if the teaching profile itself needs operational cleanup
If someone can teach but still sees the banner#
That usually means the account setup worked, but one or more required public-facing fields are still missing.
Check the profile for:
- Missing or empty bio
- Missing photo
- Missing primary style
Once those are saved, the banner should disappear automatically.
