Hi, I’m Sara.
I’m a yoga teacher trained in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga and soon to add Yin Yoga.
My yoga journey started when I was a teenager.
Before that, I was a gymnast, so yoga felt like a natural next step. At first, I loved the mix of movement and mindfulness, but over the years, yoga became so much more—it’s now just a part of my life.
In my classes, I try to keep things balanced.
We do some strong, flowing movements, but I also like to include slower poses that we hold for a bit longer. My aim is to create a space where you can connect with yourself, feel good in your body, and enjoy being in the moment.
For me, yoga isn’t just about the poses—it’s about finding joy and balance, both on and off the mat.
What’s your go-to pose when you need to recharge?
It might sound simple, but Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) is my go-to pose. The stretch and grounding create a full-body reset that feels incredibly good at any time of day.
As I settle into the pose, the inversion shifts my perspective, helping me see things with a fresh mindset. It’s a reminder to release tension, trust my body, and welcome clarity and freedom.
What’s a habit or a routine you can’t live without?
Starting my day with mindful movement, breathwork, journaling while watching the sunrise, or simply enjoying a warm cup of tea.
Each morning is different—some days I begin with a gentle flow or a few moments of breathwork to ground myself, while other days I take time to reflect and journal as the sun rises.
I always make space for a quiet moment with tea, which helps me settle into the day.
What’s your mantra or favorite quote to live by?
Tat Tvam Asi - “You are that.”
It reminds me that we are all connected to the infinite, that the divine exists within each of us. It encourages me to recognize my own inner strength and to see the divinity in others and in the world around me.
See you on the mat! ✨
