Teaching Philosophy
Betania is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she graduated as a professional ballerina after completing an 8-year dance program. From a very young age, she practiced ballet and always integrated Pilates, inspired exercises into my warm-ups. When she moved to Germany to work as a professional dancer, this routine became even more consistent, helping me stay in shape and prevent injuries, even outside of rehearsals and performances.
She earned her mat Pilates certification in Madrid and had taught in Buenos Aires and the United States where she worked in several studios, and completed my full apparatus certification: Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, along with additional complementary equipment.
For the past five years, she had been living in Luxembourg, where she teaches ballet, dance, Pilates, and tango. Throughout this journey, I have taught a wide variety of classes, always guided by the same vision: Pilates as both a tool for injury prevention and a beautiful way to connect with dance and movement. She sees Pilates as an enriching practice, that develops body awareness, invites us to listen closely to what the body tells us, and encourages us to move with intention. In doing so, we not only care for our bodies but also show gratitude for all they allow us to do.
