View the address, connection status, nameservers and DNS records for a website managed by Naayya.

# Website settings

If Naayya manages your business website, **Website** settings show its address,
domains and recorded connection status. Naayya handles setup, content changes
and publishing. These settings are read-only.

## Open website settings

Business owners and managers can open **Admin → Settings → Website** at
`/admin/settings/website`. Select the business whose website you want to view.

**Website** appears only for a business whose website Naayya manages. If it is
not in your settings, Naayya does not manage a website for that business yet.
Contact Naayya to arrange setup. Selecting a business does not create or publish
a website.

## Check the website address and publication

Each website shows its name and **Website address**. **Awaiting setup** means
an address has not yet been recorded.

The page also shows either **Awaiting first publication** or **A successful
publication has been recorded.** This reports the saved publication state;
it is not a live availability check. Naayya records publication after checking
that the main website address is ready and confirming which update is published. A website may already open
at a separate address while the main address is still being connected and the
page says **Awaiting first publication**.

If the main address does not open or shows unexpected content, contact Naayya
with that address and what you see. A working separate address does not confirm
that the main address is ready.

## Read domain status

Each domain has three separate indicators:

| Indicator | What it records | States |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Ownership** | Whether the domain's ownership check is complete | `pending`, `verified`, `failed` |
| **HTTPS** | Whether the domain's secure connection is ready | `pending`, `active`, `failed` |
| **Connection** | Whether the domain's website routing check is complete | `pending`, `active`, `failed` |

A domain’s recorded checks are complete when it shows **Ownership: verified**,
**HTTPS: active** and **Connection: active**. Check the indicators for each domain separately; one
connected domain does not confirm another domain is ready.

Ownership verification alone does not mean HTTPS or the website connection is
ready. A pending or failed indicator needs Naayya's attention before the domain
is treated as connected. Reloading the page displays the recorded status; it
does not run a new domain check or publish the site.

## Read nameserver instructions

When Naayya supplies nameserver instructions, **Nameservers** shows the domain
and each nameserver value. Use **Copy** beside a value to copy it exactly.
Set these values in the nameserver settings at your domain registrar, the
company where your domain is registered. Nameserver instructions are separate
from ordinary DNS records and do not show a TTL to set.

Naayya coordinates the domain connection. Copying a value does not change your
registrar settings or confirm that the website is connected. If you are unsure
where a value belongs, contact Naayya before changing it.

## Read DNS records

When setup records are available, each domain shows the expected DNS record
type, name, value and **TTL** under **DNS records**. Use **Copy** beside the
name or value to copy it exactly. TTL is the record's cache lifetime in seconds.
These are the records prepared for the website connection; displaying them
does not confirm that they have been added at your domain provider. If no DNS
records are listed, ask Naayya whether anything needs to change before editing
your domain. An empty list does not confirm that setup is complete.

Contact Naayya before changing website DNS. Naayya coordinates the connection
and its checks. Keep your email records intact, including MX, SPF, DKIM and
DMARC records. Website setup does not require sharing your registrar password
in these settings.

## Request a change

Contact Naayya to set up a website, change its content or address, connect a
domain, or publish an update. There are no edit, domain-check or publish buttons
on this page. Website analytics are not available in these settings.

If the page says **Could not load website settings. Reload to try again.**,
reload it. If the error continues, contact Naayya and say which business you
selected.
