# Use Naayya POS on iPad

Use the iPad register and record cash or payments taken on your own card reader

# Use Naayya POS on iPad

Use the separate **Naayya POS** app on an iPad running iPadOS 18 or later. Sign in with your Naayya account and choose the business you sell for. Your role must allow you to complete POS sales.

## Use the register

Open **New sale**. When there is enough room, the catalog and cart appear beside each other. With larger text or a narrower window, open the cart to review the sale and choose how it is paid. You can use the app in portrait or landscape and resize its window.

Choose the item and select a customer when it requires one, then review the sale before completing checkout. The iPad app sells one product at a time, just like Naayya POS on iPhone. ## Take a payment

On iPad, choose **Cash** or **Own card reader**:

- **Cash** records the cash you receive from the customer.
- **Own card reader** records a card payment you take separately on your business's terminal. Complete the payment on that terminal first, then record it in Naayya POS. Naayya POS does not connect to or charge that terminal.

**Tap to Pay on iPhone** is available only on compatible iPhones. It is not offered on iPad, and tapping a card or phone against the iPad does not take a payment.

After checkout, check the confirmation. Recorded sales are under **Payments** in Naayya POS. If a payment's outcome is unclear, check it before taking the payment again. See [Payment troubleshooting](/help-center/payment-troubleshooting).
