# Product Types Overview

Choose a Drop-in, Class pack, Membership, Service, or Service pack for what you sell

# Product Types Overview

Use **Admin > Products** to set up products for classes and one-to-one services. The **New Product** picker groups the available types under **Classes** and **Services**. Physical goods are managed separately in **Shop**.

## What you see depends on your studio setup

The product picker shows the groups available to your business. Choose **Classes** for group class products or **Services** for one-to-one appointment products. If a group or type is not available, check the business setup and payment connection before looking for it in the picker.

Review the product's settings and customer-facing listing before sharing it.

## Class Products

Choose **Classes** in the product picker for group class products.

### Drop-in

Choose **Drop-in** when the product is for one class offer. Check which classes accept it before sharing the product.

### Class pack

Choose **Class pack** for a class product with **Credits** or **Unlimited** under **Class Limit**. **Class pack** is the current label for the older “bundles” wording. Set **Validity** and review **Class Coverage** in the creation form. See [Creating Class Packs](/help-center/creating-bundles).

### Membership

Choose **Membership** for an ongoing class plan. Review its **Billing Frequency**, **Class Limit**, **Starts When**, and **Who Can Purchase** settings. See [Creating Memberships](/help-center/creating-memberships).

## Changing a product's price

Open the existing product in **Admin > Products** and edit its **Price** field. For a change to the offer's structure, review **Replace product** in the [Product Settings Guide](/help-center/product-settings-guide#universal-settings-changing-a-products-price). Check the product details and customer-facing listing after saving.

## Service Products

Choose **Services** in the picker for one-to-one appointments, such as a consultation or personal training session.

### Service

Choose **Service** in the picker to create a product for one appointment.

### Service pack

Choose **Service pack** in the picker to create a product for several appointments. Set **Sessions** and review **Validity** before sharing the product.

## Physical products

Goods such as clothing and equipment belong in **Shop**, separate from class and service products in **Admin > Products**. See [Creating Physical Products](/help-center/creating-physical-products) for product details, variants, and inventory.

## Which Product Type Should You Choose?

### For Group Classes

Choose **Drop-in** for one class offer, **Class pack** for a pack or pass, and **Membership** for a membership plan. If a class pack should cover only selected classes or a special format, check [Class Coverage for Products](/help-center/linking-products-to-classes).

### For Services

Choose **Service** for one appointment or **Service pack** for several. Check the services covered and the customer booking flow before sharing the product.

## Getting Started

1. Go to **Admin > Products** and select **New Product**.
2. Under **Classes**, choose **Drop-in**, **Class pack**, or **Membership**. Under **Services**, choose **Service** or **Service pack**.
3. Enter the customer-facing details and the fields shown for that type.
4. Select **Create Product**, then open the product to check its status, coverage, and public listing.

### Recommended Starting Products

Start with the options you actually sell. A class business might offer a Drop-in and one Class pack. A service business might offer a Service and a Service pack. Add a Membership when that product type matches the plan you want to present. Review the options on your public product listing.
