# Class Coverage for Products

Class bundles and memberships can cover your full standard class schedule or only specific classes.

## How class coverage works

- **All standard classes** covers active standard classes with usual pricing
- Classes with separate pricing need an explicit link
- Workshops, courses, retreats, and other special formats need an explicit link when the offer should include them
- Appointment services stay separate from class coverage
- Existing credits and memberships stay recorded when you change future class eligibility

## Where to manage coverage

1. Go to **Admin > Products**
2. Open the product you want to review
3. Review **Class coverage** in Product Details
4. Review the classes listed below the product details

The product detail page shows either **All standard classes** or **Specific classes only**. The connected classes list is useful for special links, exclusions, and checking exactly where the product applies.

## When to use all standard classes

Use **All standard classes** for products that should work across your regular schedule, for example:

- A general class pass
- An unlimited membership
- A membership tier advertised as "all classes" or "any class"

This is the broad coverage option for a regular schedule. Classes with separate pricing still need an explicit link.

## When to use specific classes

Use explicit class links when the product should only work on selected classes, for example:

- A workshop pass
- A specialty track or teacher-specific offer
- A limited pack that intentionally excludes some formats

Pick the exact classes the product should cover and save. This is also how you add workshops, experiences, and events to an offer when they should be included.

## Exclude a standard class from a broad pass

If a broad pass should not work on a specific standard class:

1. Open the product
2. Find the class in the class list
3. Click **Unlink**

Review the impact preview, then apply the change. The class is excluded from that product's future eligibility while the change remains in place.

## Common fixes

### A customer says their pass should work everywhere

Open the product in **Admin > Products** and check **Class coverage**. If it says **All standard classes**, the pass covers active standard classes with usual pricing. A workshop, course, retreat, or class with separate pricing may need an explicit link.

### A business owner changed the price and created a second product

Review the current product's offer before creating another one. Use the price edit flow for a price change. If the offer itself changed, use **Replace product** and review the customer impact.

### The offer only applies to a subset of classes

Choose **Specific classes only**, add the intended classes, and keep the product description clear about which classes are included.

For the customer side of a pass or pack, see [Products & Credits](/help-center/products).
